One of the perks of studying for the Masters of Creative Writing at the University of Technology, Sydney, is the right to submit work for the annual anthology. The UTS Writers' Anthology is launched at the Sydney Writers Festival in May and is gaining in prestige every year. Around 30 stories make it into the final publication.
My short story, A Fistful of Earth, was submitted last October, along with 300 other stories, and has just been shortlisted. The editing process will be conducted throughout January, hopefully to be followed with advice of publication!
