It's been a long time in coming, thanks to COVID, but I finally made it to Wigtown. It's a book town that boasts about 15 bookshops and many cafes doing great coffee and cake. It doesn't get much better than this for book lovers, I tell you! I was thrilled to meet Shaun Bythell, the proprietor of The Bookshop and the author of four books and counting. I'm pictured with Shaun holding his latest, Remainders of the Day, due out in the UK in September, hopefully for Christmas in Australia. He has gifted me an ARC copy and I'm devouring it rapidly, so will be reviewing soon!
