The Really Good Bookshop in the Brisbane suburb of Hillcrest is the kind of shop you can get lost in. Such an expansive and deep selection. Secondhand as well as new. I wasn't able to leave without making a purchase, that's for sure! Thanks Wendy for stocking Something Else. Supportive bookshops are essential to the lifeblood of new books and authors.

It's been a long time in coming, thanks to COVID, but I finally made it to Wigtown. It's a book town that boasts about 15 bookshops and many cafes doing great coffee and cake. I found out this week I will be one of the honourary presenters at the Logan Writers Festival. This means that apart from having a stall I will also be presenting a writing workshop at 10am on the Friday morning, ie 9 September.
